Priest who was accused of transmitting HIV virus tests negative for the virus

Father Emilien Messina was arrested on May 17th 2022 and taken to the Bertoua prison. He was accused of sexually abusing a girl from the time she was aged 14 to her 17th year and of transmitting the HIV virus to her. The girl’s parents also claimed that other women had come forward to say he had done same to them. Arrested and jailed for over a month now, father Emilien Messina has provided proof that he is not guilty of transmitting any virus to anyone.

A rapid test showed he is negative to the virus but this is not the only thing the priest has to say. Screenshots of messages he reportedly received from the aforementioned young girl show that they had conversations that went beyond prayer.

In the exchange, his interlocutor says (she) admires his demeanor and gait among other things and goes on to complain about insufficient funds to pay for her luggage at the car park.
