Armed Men Meet Face-to-Face With Gendarmes In Sabga

SABGA,Cameroon-Saturday July 7, 2018-2:30 PM Local Time (Cameroon News Agency) Some gunmen blocked the road around Sabga, leading to Ndop Subdivision in Ngoketundjia Division North West region, CNA has gathered.

Early Saturday, there was reports of continuous gunshots in the area when Gendarmes confronted the armed men. Gun battle lasted for about three hours but surrounding residents say though the situation seems to be under control, casualties have been recorded.

CNA correspondent in Bambui says, he saw an Ambulance on top speed towards Sabga, it could have gone to transport dead or wounded Officers.

Unconfirmed sources say one Police Officer was shot in the cross-fire.
