CAF-Cameroon Saga: FECAFOOT President Tells CAF President That Cameroon Must Host 2019 AFCON
Buea,Cameroon-August 7, 2017-8:50 PM Local Time(Cameroon News Agency)The President of Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT , Tombi Aroko Sidiki says that Cameroon will be ready to host the 2019 AFCON and will work in line with new CAF prescription.
Mr Aroko who was reacting to an outing of Ahmad Ahmad said that it is too early to judge whether the country of Roger Milla will host or not because the competition is still far ahead.
He described Ahmad Ahmad’s comments as witch hunting which is a clear example that a coup to unseat hosting rights is underway.
In a press release signed Monday August 7, 2019 Tombi Aroko Sidiki reminded CAF boss that Cameroon is just from hosting the female Nations cup and was even congratulated by CAF for the wonderful hosting.
The FECAFOOT boss says all stadia will be ready and that it will be gross exaggeration for the CAF President to say no site is ready yet in Cameroon .
