Turley targets Syrian rebels after Sunday bombings in Ankara

Turkey has launched an anti-terror aerial attack across the border in Northern Syria following Sunday’s bombing in the country’s political capital Ankara. Prior to this launch, Turkish air forces destroyed 58 targets of the outlawed PKK In Northern Iraq while Iraqi Defense Minister Thabet al-Abbasi arrived in Ankara to meet his Turkish counterpart Yaşar Güler.

Turkish intelligence says an aerial operation has hit PKK/YPG terrorists in that region. Buildings and facilities used by PKK/YPG are being targeted after PKK claimed Sunday’s attack. Officials in Turkey say they will continue with hit operations until the plan target is reached.

Reports from Syria say there are two fronts at the borders; the Syrian and Iraqi, while Turkish intelligence is continuing to target places where according to them the PKK and YPG terrorist organizations have opened ammunition depots that help them in planning and carrying out attacks like Sunday’s on Ankara. In Iraq, they are looking at more than 60 targets that have already been hit, while in Syria the exact figure is yet to be made official.
