Nigeria debunks attack on Embassy in Niger

Videos have been circulating on Social Media on Monday that the Nigerian Embassy in Niger had been attacked and set on fire by angry arsonists.

The Nigerian Embassy debunked these claims, adding that there was an attempt by angry protesters to gain access into the Embassy on July 30, 2023, but were pushed back by the Nigerian army and police guarding the Embassy.

We reitirate that the videos are fake and as such the general public is enjoined to disregard such videos
