Yaoundé, Cameroon-Thursday January 4,2017-9:47 AM Local Time (Cameroon News Agency) Police in Yaoundé, Cameroons political capital have apprehended two men suspected of killing the Pastor of Presbyterian Church, Nkolbison Rev Ewalla Jeremiah last year. The two were presented to the Press Thursday.
According to preliminary findings, Rev Ewalla Jeremiah who went missing last December 19 and only found dead 4 days later, was never the target of his killers.
CNA gathered one of the killers was accused by former Pastor of the Church one year ago of stealing his laptop and he was taken to jail where he allegedly bailed himself for FCFA 100,000.
After his freedom, he decided to revenge on the Man of God, but did not know he was transferred. It is said Rev Ewalla was mistaken for the former Pastor and murdered in cold blood, later abandoned behind the Church’s premises.
GUEYIMA Jules alias supporter, 27 and Nzoda FOKA Leonel, 16, where caught in possession of some documents, a machete, mobile phone and a bag.
Investigations have continued.
