Francis Nganou Retains UFC Heavyweight Title In Fierce Battle With Gane
There was no KO on Sunday morning , but a tight fight with Cyril Gane playing the escaping tactics, attacking mostly with his legs and running from body contact. But the Predator , Francis Nganou caught him several times and landed his back on the ground.
The land few minutes elapsed with a floor battle in which both men seemed tired but Nganou held his opponent to the last sound of the whistle and Nganou won by unanimous decision after five rounds of intense action.
Nganou retains his belt and title as the UFC world heavyweight champion.
Nganou’s victory means that he has beaten a trainee of his former trainer for the first time after leaving him.
Both men have shaded each other on Social media as the former trainer claimed that he was not being hyped after all he did for Nganou. The Predator responded by saying that the former trainer wanted to “shine” more than the athlete and this always brought issues between them.
