Woman accused of producing fake documents arrested in Yaounde

The 38-year-old woman whose name has been withheld pending trial is accused of producing fake documents. Security forces say she was arrested on June 14^th in the Biyem-Assi neighbourhood precisely at a place called “Biscuiterie”.

She is known in the neighborhood and environs as a specialist in the production of fake school certificates, birth certificates and other administrative documents which were found in a secretariat managed in her home. In her possession at the time of arrest were two computers, four USB flash drives containing falsified bank and court documents and a photocopying machine. All these items were confiscated by the gendarmes who say they are still investigating the case.
