Fai Yengo Francis Is Pioneer Coordinator of Disarmament Committee
Former Governor, Fai yengo Francis has been appointed by President Paul Biya, as the first National Coordinator of the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Committee in charge of ex Boko Haram fighters in the Far North region and armed groups in the South West and North West regions.
The appointment was made through a Presidential decree made public Tuesday December 4, 2018.
The former board chairman of the Ports Authority of Douala, PAD, will also be at the headquarter in Yaounde, while other centres will be created in Buea, Bamenda and Mora.
The Committee is created to take care of those who will willingly lay down their arms and are ready to be reintegrated into the society.
