Woman dies in Nkongsamba fire incident
28 year-old Seraphine Ndonkeng most probably never imagine she would meet her demise in such a gruesome manner at such a young age.
The inhabitants of the Ekante-Mbeng neighborhood in Nkongsamba, Moungo division of the Littoral region will never forget the night of June 14th. It is reported that a fire broke out at the deceased’s residence which she shared with her parents at about 11:00 PM. The screams of the young lady who was at asleep when this happened, woke her father up. He says all attempts he made to save his daughter were futile. The firefighting brigade which had been alerted unfortunately arrived the scene too late to save the lady.
Seraphine thus lost her life in a fire whose origin has not yet been determined.
