Sports: dark week for elite clubs from north west

PWD Social Club of Bamenda and Yong Sports Academy (YOSA) all lost on in their match day 14 outings.

YOSA was beaten in Yaounde by APEJES 0-1 thus complicating their chances of qualifying for the playoffs. The team thus remains close to the relegation zone with 13 points.

PWD Social Club of Bamenda on their part also lost 0-1 against UMS in an advanced day 13 game. A score that also complicates the position of the Abakwa boys who are also ranked closer to the relegation zone with 13 points.

In one of the top matches of the day, Fovu played a 1-1 draw with group leaders Bamboutos FC at the Bamendzi stadium in Bafoussam. The two teams remain leaders of group B.
