Prof Ngomo Horace Manga Is New UB Vice Chancellor

Douala,Cameroon-June 27,2017- 5: 25 pm(Cameroon News Agency) Professor Ngomo Horace Manga has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Buea. His appointment was made public  Tuesday June 27, on National Station CRTV. He replaces Dr Nalova Lyonga who goes on retirement.

Professor Ngomo was formerly Secretary General at the Ministry of Higher Education. Prof. Ngomo Horace Manga, is an Associate Professor of Applied Chemical Engineering. He obtained his PhD from the University of Lagos in 1990.
He hails from Oroko tribe in Ndian Division, Southwest Region

Meanwhile Ako Edward Oben formerly Rector of University of Maroua has been appointed as Pro Chancellor of the University of Buea ,replacing Professor Maurice Tchuente who is now holding same function  in the University of Yaounde II.

Professor Ako Edward has been replaced by Professor Idrissou Alioum.

Professor Uphie Chinje Epouse Melo has also been appointed as Rector of the University of Ngaoundere while Professor Adolphe Minkoa SHE is the new Rector of the University of Yaounde II.
