Presidential candidate Joshua Osih has declared that among the candidacies validated to run in the upcoming October presidential election, only his party , the SDF offers a credible path toward genuine transformation, notably with the capacity to resolve the Anglophone crisis amongst other pressing national challenges.
He described himself as a unifying and relevant candidate, with a people-driven and inclusive political program.
In a statement issued today August 6, following the Constitutional Council’s rulings on pre-electoral disputes, Osih expressed regret that several candidates felt justice had not been fully served, with some granted only a limited right of defence.
“Experience has taught us that it is illusory to believe that an autocracy can be overthrown through legal shortcuts or by relying on fragile institutions and organizations under the influence of the regime in place. ” Osih said
