Former Eglise Evangelique president dead

Reverend Pastor Hendje Toya Jean Samuel has died in Nkongsamba after suffering a malaise. According to his driver, they heard the reverend shout and call for help from his room and immediately ran in to see what the problem was. Upon arrival, he was in agony but before they could render any form of help, he died. He was taken to the Nkongsamba hospital where medics confirmed his death. His mortal remains are being taken to Douala.

Reverend Pastor Hendje Toya Jean Samuel was on retirement at the time of his demise after leading Eglise Evangelique du Cameroun as president until December 15 2021 when he resigned as a result of endless conflicts in the church which started after his election.
