Restaurateur’s lifeless body discovered in Yaounde
Security forces in Cameroon’s political capital Yaounde have opened investigations to identify and arrest suspected murderers of a restaurant operator in the Essos neighbourhood.
Marthe Carine Zintchem was reportedly murdered by men of the underworld on the night of september 5th while she was returning home in a taxi after a busy and tiring day. Her lifeless body was discovered by the roadside by the morning of the next day.
No valuable items were found on her by the time security officials arrived the scene and the real reason why she was killed is still not known .
Women have increasingly become targets of unlawful men in Yaounde with many bla;ing the government for failing to address and find lasting solutions to the issue.
Some social media users advance no movement at night as a remedy to the phenomenon.
It should be recalled that on Monday April 4 2022, a 24-year-old lady, mother of a 6-month-old baby was gruesomely killed in the Ahala neighborhood in Yaounde and her body dumped by her killers by the road.
Months back, another woman was raped and slaughtered by hoodlums in mimboman in Yaounde still and her body abandoned by the road.
