Journalist to pay fine after beating girlfriend

Journalist, Chantal Roger Tuilé who fought with his girlfriend in a bar on Monday December 18, 2023, has been asked to pay FCFA 250,000as damages or face prison terms.

The two arrived at an agreement yesterday at the Mvog Betis Gendarmerie Brigade in Yaoundé. He has already paid FCFA 150, 000.

Chantal earlier refuted allegations that he was asking for help from his colleagues.

The out of court settlement came at the time when he was being arraigned before an Attorney.
