Gilles Sadi, Son of Sadi Emmanuel appointed SDO
The presidential decree appointing Senior Divisional Officers (SDO) and Divisional Officers (DO) was made public this July 14th 2022. Among the appointees is Gilles Christian Sadi, son to current Communication minister Emmanuel Sadi. Gilles is the new SDO for Mayo-Louti, North region of Cameroon, at just 34. Prior to this appointment, he was Secretary General at the West region governor’s office: a post he was been occupying since 2019, just five years after his graduation from the Advanced School of Administration and Magistracy, ENAM.
He is far from being the only priviledged child currently serving in the administration. Justin Hector Daniel Fame Ndongo has been since October 31st 2021, the DO for Edea I subdivision. He is 32 years of age and son to higher education minister and CPDM bigwig Jacques Fame Ndongo.
Prior to this, he was first deputy mayor and also asssistant lecturer at the Douala university.
