Garoua university board chair and rector installed

The board chair and the rector of the university of Garoua have been installed. Souley Daouda and Professor Boubakari Oumarou were given full power this July 21 by the Minister of higher education Professor Jacques Fame Ndongo.
While waiting for these state institutions to see the light of day, these academic officials have been urged to do proper groundwork.

This same exercise will be carried out in Bertoua and Ebolowa on August 2nd and 4th respectively.
These rectors and boardchairs were appointed by president Paul Biya on June 3rd 2022.

Since the announcement of the creation of three state universities in the North,East and West regions, no public statement has been made on the sites to host these institutions.
