Fuel Scarcity: SCDP says normalcy to return this week

The Cameroon Petroleum Depot Company, SCDP, said on Sunday that normalization of fuel at the pump is imminent.
This comes following weeks of fuel scarcity that hit major Cameroonian cities.

SCDP revealed that “a ship docked at the Port of Douala on Sunday 09 December 2023.”
“Operations are underway to ensure that trucks can begin loading for the country’s main cities. The situation should return to normal on Monday 11 December 2023.” The statement said.

Most fueling stations in big cities like Douala, Yaounde, Bafoussam, and other areas have been packed with Cameroonians queuing to have the most precious liquid, after water.

The SCDP also announced on Sunday that there will be rationing to make sure that everyone has a fair share of the supply before thins wold be normalized this week.
