First Phase COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign Ends In July- Minister

The Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi and Minister Manaouda Malachie of Public Health have today granted a joint press conference on the situation of the anti-COVID19 vaccine, 3 months after the launch of vaccination in Cameroon.

During the press joint press conference, the public health minister revealed that the first phase of the vaccination will end on July 31, 2021. 61 days after the campaign was launched, Cameroon has vaccinated 170.300 persons; 16200 have received the second dose of the vaccine.

Just to note that Cameroon counts 244 vaccination centres, 575 vaccination teams, 191 regional supervisors, 191 focal points in charge of the follow-up of persons with adverse effects of the vaccine.
