Douala: Two Cameroonians Launch Foreign Exchange Institution, Boost Employment

A foreign exchange financial institution, SB Capital has launched its activities in Douala, the Economic capital of Cameroon. The official launching ceremony took place Monday, 26th July 2021, at its head office in Akwa, Douala.


Addressing the audience and pressmen at the ceremony, the CEO and co-founder of SB CAPITAL Eho Henry Sukate (indigene from Nguti in the SW region), said, the decision to create the institution Stern’s from the lapses in inefficient customer services which characterizes most financial houses in Cameroon. ” we all, including myself have been victims of the poor customer services provided in some institutions in our country… SB CAPITAL’s services have been crafted to revamped the financial exchange sector. Sukate , also seized the opportunity to appreciate those that had worked tirelessly to ensure that the dream He had with his partner, Fornimoh Gaston Bezeboh from Bambui (NorthWest region), some two years back, came to fruity.


Aside from Exchange services in Dollars, Euro, Japanese Yen, Pounds amongst others, the non-bank financial institutions as noted by Henry Sukate, also offers international money transfer services, partnering with Worldremit, Western Union and soon to be launched SB remit. In addition to the above, SB CAPITAL in collaboration with its international partners offers to its clients; travel service with the possibility to purchase prepaid bank cards, air tickets , travelers checks, and travel insurances.

The official launching ceremony, amongst other legal and traditional dignitaries, was graced with the presence of the Parish Priest of Holy Spirit Parish Bepanda-Omnisport. Rev Father Patrick Bulus. In his words, the Rev Fr. Patrick Bulus, called the newly launched financial institution Blessed with the Holy Spirit. This, he did by pouring the Holy anointing oil and water, blessing the entire building, the CEO, and his staff, and chased all contrary spirits from within the area.
Rev . Fr Patrick Bulus also beseeched the Blessed Virgin Mary to help the institution expand its branches in all regions of Cameroon and Africa as a whole. It should be noted that the Words of the Man of God only came to emphasize on the desire of the CEO Henry Sukate and his collaborators as they aspire to expand their financial expertise in other regions as time and need will arise.
