Douala group contributions: Victims seek help as lady disappears with 1.6M

Some 12 petit businessmen in Bonaberie Douala four area, are seeking the help from the 15th Police district, after a woman who had been collecting a daily savings disappeared and cannot be reached.

On November 29, the victims filed a complaint to the Commissioner of Police in Bonaberie explaining that they were scammed by a certain Kenfack Nadine Ndogmo, who created a fake company and lied to them that it was affiliated to a higher one.

The company, KENCY ECO was however solely owned by the lady who also printed books to document the amounts contributed by the victims. She was also supposed to keep 10% as her pay for keeping their money.

However as December drew nearer, she allegedly escaped with the money blocking all of them from her WhatsApp and direct calls, CNA learned.
