Cameroonian stabs ex-wife to death in Canada

Reports from Montréal-Canada say 29-year-old Gisèle Itale Betandi was stabbed to death at the parking lot of the building she was living in the early hours of September 8 2022.

The suspect whose name is yet to be disclosed but is presented as the victim’s ex-husband is presently under police custody for proper investigation. He is being detained as prime suspect for the murder.

The mother of three, died in a hospital and her friends are putting accusing fingers at her ex-husband:

“He is a very violent man. He used to beat her and she would run for help. After giving birth to her third child a few weeks ago, she ran for safety to a friend’s place” a friend to the deceased testifies.

The man in his 50s known is no stranger to the forces of law and order. He had been arrested for domestic abuse before and had been given a restriction order not to call or approach his ex-wife. Unfortunately he went against the order and allegedly stabbed her while she was putting their children in their car seats.

Gisele Itale Betandi was a customer service representative at a telecommunications company in Canada and was a former student of the Government High School Limbe and the University of Buea in Cameroon.
