Cameroon to host the African Women Economic Leadership Forum awards
Cameroon together with AVICOMM group, a Leading Pan African Communications, Media, Publishing, and Corporate Events Management Company based in Ghana will organize the African Women Economic & Leadership Forum & Awards, AWELFA 2023.
The event which is slated to take place on January 26th 2023 in Yaounde is under the auspices of the Ministries of Small and Medium Size Enterprises, Trade and of Women`s Empowerment.
It has as theme “Women’s role in the socio-economic development of the African Continent”.
The AWELFA 2023 will bring together some top leading women and politicians in Cameroon, Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America to celebrate impact-driven women in business, civil societies, politics and good governance, philanthropy, and creative arts.
The event has as aims to bring together about 500 African women, socio-economic and business leaders from all over the world to honor and celebrate business excellence and female leadership in Africa.
It is a forum where actors will brainstorm and find solutions to empower more women and encourage them to embrace leadership roles across different sectors in their societies.
Financial inclusion and investing in women-owned businesses, building impact-driven leaders, business growth strategies for entrepreneurs, and embracing leadership roles in politics and governance amongst others are some of the key topics which will be discussed during the forum.
The conversations will focus on shaping women’s economic future and building economic equity for women.
