Bui Division: Teacher commits suicide in classroom
The family is still in shock over the incident. Inhabitants of Djotin, a locality in Noni subdivision, North West region are trying to figure out what caused the secondary school teacher to take away his own life.
The lifeless body of Tata Sylvanus Kangong was discovered in one of the classrooms of GHS Lafele Djotin on Monday, July 25, 2022, at about 7 PM, someone who has knowledge of the incident told CNA.
Close sources to the family say before the incident, Sylvanus left the house telling his father that if they need him, they should look for him around the school premises. Little did they know that he was going there to commit suicide.
His lifeless body at press time was still hanging in the classroom waiting for further directives from the elders. No one knows the reason for his decision to take away his life.
At the time of his death, he was a government teacher at GHS Mesaje. He leaves behind a wife and three children.
