Bafia: Girl gruesomely murdered
A student of the Lycee Technique Bafia whose name CNA got as Ndemgne Simo Christelle has been found dead in a gutter two days after her family members declared her a missing person.
Reports on the ground say she just succeeded in her baccaleaureat examination this year in the science and technical discipline and was planning on higher education before she was murdered. She was last seen alive on August 17th when she left her family home and never returned.
She was found naked, her throat slit, hands tied to her back and eyes gorged out. Medical experts say her remains bear the traces of rape. The perpetrators of this act are still not known neither are their motives.
The mother of the deceased has formerly identified her corpse and authorities say investigations are ongoing to identify the people behind such a gruesome and cruel act.
