Are some CRM party members creating new party?
The Divisional Officer (D.O.) for Bafoussam I has signed a special authorization for some members of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement, CRM, to organize a press conference. This, is to enable the members of a sub-group called “group of candidates abusively removed from internal elections in the west region” united under Kenmegne Tama Guy, to explain to the public what the problem is within the party.
The group says they wish to talk about the decisions of the electoral commission in the west region which they consider “non-objective” and give their position on the internal elections which took place in the region.
The press conference is scheduled for August 3rd from 2PM to 4PM at “parc des loisirs” in Bafoussam.
Sources say this is a first step towards the creation of a new political party constituted mostly of former members of the CRM party.
