Paul Biya Proves He Is Alive In A State House Visit

Buea, Cameroon-Friday February 16, 2018-11:30 PM Local Time (Cameroon News Agency) Unlike in 2004 when he debunked rumors of his death by promising to Cameroonians he will see them in the next 20 years,2024, President Paul Biya seems to be containing fresh rumors with supposed critical health situation or death as propagated on Social Media, by remaining silent and let his actions proof he is alive.

On Thursday February 15 , 2018 State media reported that the Head of State received in audience at the Unity palace, Mr. Günter Nooke, the German Chancellor’s Personal Representative for Africa in the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. This fresh pictures after his 11 February address to the Youths have come to add more flesh to arguments that he was still kicking strong. But who wished him dead? No one can answer this question.

the website of the Presidency writes that, “The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA has granted an audience to Mr. Günter Nooke, the German Chancellor’s Personal Representative for Africa in the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. They met at the Unity Palace on 15 February 2018.Speaking to reporters after the audience, Angela Merkel’s emissary said cooperation ties between both countries were reviewed during the close to one-hour meeting with the Head of State. Germany, he noted, is prepared to deepen these ties; vis-à-vis the recommendations of the African Union – European Union Summit in Abidjan last year.”

It was also revealed that as regards the socio-political challenges in the North West and South West regions, “Mr. Günter Nooke stressed that the Federal Republic of Germany is solidly in favour of measures linked to the effective implementation of decentralization in Cameroon.”
