Suspended Journalists Rubbish Decision of NCC

Yaounde, Cameroon-Wednesday December 20, 2017- 12:20 PM Local Time (Cameroon News Agency) Journalists of Vision 4, a Yaounde based Television channel, who were recently suspended have rubbished the decision by National Communication Council, saying some members of the body smoke Marijuana.
 
The Director, Ernest Obama, Editor-in-Chief Parfait Ayissi and other panelists said the National Communication Council headed by Peter Essoka has no right to sanction in the audio-visual sector due to its incompetence.
In a program called Tours D’horizon, which was suspended by Tuesdays decision, the men said most members of the NCC are old,weak smoke marijuana and need rest.
They accused the Peter Essoka of supporting Secessionists by trying to clock those fighting for Nation Building.
They have promised to appeal the decision in court.
