PCC group says corruption, intimidation must end
The group of Christians worshiping in the Presbyterian Church of Cameroon, who described themsleves as ‘Truth House,’ have voiced their discontent in the Church, saying morality has left the PCC.
They expressed their grieviances during a press conference that took place in Bonaberie, Douala 4 Council area on Sunday November 3, 2024. They alleged that corruption, intimidation, injustice, bullying, insults, and other vices have become rampant within the PCC. Pastors were accused of hurling insults at fellow Christains
The press conference was organised on the heels of election into the executive body of the Church scheduled between November 13-15, 2024.
“The upcoming elections we have the full list- some hierachies have their own list, they don’t only have the list, they make sure that they support” adding that they also supress people to vote for their lists and can even victimise them, one of the conference attendees told the press.
They also decried that older Pastors were left out of the race, “We in the pews can see Pius Pastors but they have been left out…we are praying that let a miracle come from heaven so that, that particular Pastor will win this election… so that the Church can improve its holiness..”
“Truth House” says those who will win the Synod top positions must do so alone and not be guided by godfathers.

They think that the head of the Church is corrupt becasue they have gone out of the norms of the Chruch to do unethical things, making the congregation to lose hope and confidence on the hierachy of the Church.
“We are human, but they should show some good example…you cannot love when there is not peace, there is no peace in the PCC,” another member said.
