West Region: Student attacks teacher with a knife in classroom
A teacher at GBHS Nwatta in Santchou, West region will now be teaching his students with a bandaged palm.
He was attacked Wednesday morning with a knife by stubborn students he scolded for disobedience.
In a struggle to seize the knife from the student, it inflicted him deep cuts.
Other students succeeded in neutralizing the bad grain who had gotten a cutlass to deal with the teacher who had succeeded in confiscating the knife from him.
The recalcitrant student was handed over to the forces of law and order.
