Three young men killed by suspected government forces in Bamenda

Inhabitants of Below Mile 6 around Foundation Radio in Bamenda are still unable to identify the victims who were found lying on the road early Friday, August 5, 2022.

They were shot there last night allegedly by government forces who had carried out a door-to-door search that night, where they arrested some civilians.

“We got up this morning and discovered the three corpses lying beside the road. It is said that they were shot around 4:30 AM. No one has been able to identify the corpses. Members of the Cameroon military raided the town and arrested several persons but no one has been able to make the faces of the victim out”

It is suspected that the victims were arrested from other neighborhoods before execution in Mile 6.
