COVID19 : Gov’t Recruits 589 Health Personnel To Fight Against Spread Of The COVID199
The Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reform, Joseph Le, revealed this on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, during a press briefing in Yaoundé. The Cameroonian government is on all fronts, in order to conquer the COVID-19, which has already claimed life of a victim on the Cameroonian soil, out of the 75 infected cases.
The health staff will be supported by a contingent of 589 health staff, recruited instantly, to boost the workforce of professionals in very limited numbers.
The Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reform, Joseph Le, has ensured their recruitment by a series of decisions taken, and made public during a press briefing on March 25, 2020 in Yaoundé.
“In order to bring the modest contribution of my Ministry, to the actions carried out relentlessly by government, I have just placed at the disposal of the Minister of Public Health, series of decisions, signed today. 589 health personnel of all ranks and specialties, so that they are mobilized, within the framework of the fight against this pandemic”, said Minster Joseph Le, in his remarks relayed by state media.
