Mobile Money Operator Robbed in Makepe-Douala 5

Two bandits armed with a knife, local pistol, and another deadly weapon have escaped death in the Makepe neighborhood in the Douala 5 municipality after robbing a woman of an undisclosed sum of money, around Montana City, CNA gathered.

The victim at gunpoint was compelled to surrender her bag of money and telephones she uses for her Mobile Money transaction.

Her scream for help did not help, despite arrival of neighbors and other persons who chased the hoodlums.

In the course of escaping, the thieves dropped some of the weapons they use to intimidate their prey.

The weapons were collected by elements of the Logbessou Police Station. Investigation to track down the criminals is ongoing.
