Young leaders create Civil Society organization to re-awaken African youths

Young Leaders Create Civil Society Organization for Africa’s Youth Leadership

According to a Press release, New Era Youth for Africa is an apolitical Civil Society body that encourages youths to pilot the growth of the African continent.
“With genuine concerns about the predicament of African youth who complain of being left in the back seat of leadership, this apolitical organization has come to give hope to the hopeless and practically inspire young people across the continent to pick up the mantle for change,” the release read.

Led by Dr Ndimancho Emmanuel, NEYA hopes to redefine the African youth’s engagement in African affairs, moving from speeches to walking the talk.

Members constitute majority of Cameroonian youths who have been vocal on the media on topical issues, but they want to work with other African youths, governments, and institutions to foster their roadmap.

According to the main objectives, NEYA would be fighting against environmental destruction, under scholarisation, build youth capacity of youths, promote health, organize international competitions, among others.
