Yaoundé: Explosion leaves many injured at Mokolo market

Unknown number of civilians present in the market on July 2, 2022, are said to have been injured.

The explosion occurred around the Police station in the Mokolo market.

At about 1PM, there was a loud explosion that sent denizens into panic mode.

Police have not confirmed reports that the explosion was caused by an Improvised bomb but previous explosions in Yaoundé have been attributed to local bomb attacks.
