Man Dies Because of Bag of Potato

A 40-year-old man, Kouonfon Eric has succumbed to injuries sustained on March 26 in the locality of Kombou, in Babadjou Sub Division, West region.

The father of 3, a loader of heavy-duty trucks in the locality, was suspected of stealing a bag of Potato. He fell into the hands of mob justice.

Informed of the news, elements of the national gendarmerie opened an investigation to arrest those involved in the lynching.
