Who is Rev. Dr. Nditemeh Charlemagne, Outgoing CBC Executive President

Rev. Dr. Nditemeh Charlemagne was born in Bangolan, located in the North West Region of Cameroon. He holds both undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Law from the University of Yaoundé II. Before pursuing law, he studied Aeronautical Radio Telecommunications at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Training Centre in Zaria, Nigeria, where he later worked at two international airports in Cameroon.
In addition to his legal and aviation background, Rev. Dr. Charlemagne has an extensive theological education. He earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Eastern (now Palmer) Baptist Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, USA. He also holds a Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) in Systematic Theology from Bethany Bible College and Seminary in Alabama, USA.
Rev. Dr. Charlemagne has held significant academic and leadership roles throughout his career. He has served as Seminary President in Cameroon, Lecturer and Faculty Dean at Mount Meru University in Arusha, Tanzania, and Senior Lecturer at the French Faculté de Théologie Evangélique de Bangui (FATEB) in the Central African Republic. He was also Vice Chancellor of International Leadership University Cameroon.
He is the Executive President of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, a post he has held for the past 4 years; and is the Board Chair of the Cameroon Bible Society. In addition to these leadership roles, he serves as an adjunct and visiting lecturer at ten theological institutions across six African countries. He has also worked as a local church pastor, Field Pastor, and national radio preacher.
Rev. Dr. Charlemagne is also the Academic Dean at International Leadership University (ILU) in Cameroon and serves as an adjunct faculty member at three African seminaries: West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS) in Lagos, Nigeria; the Faculty of Evangelical Theology de Bangui (FATEB) in the Central African Republic; and the Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary in Ndu.
He is the author of two books: ‘He or She Who Has an Ear: Sermons on Letters to the Seven Churches of Asia Minor’ (2011) and ‘Towards An African Christian Premarital Counseling’ (2011).
