“We win together, we lose together” Andre Onana

Andre Onana conceded his first two goals of the season in Manchester United’s 2-1 defeat to Brighton on day two of the English Premier League.

The Cameroonian goalkeeper expressed disappoint. “We had more possession of the game, we had more chances than them” he said.

The loss followed the 1-0 win over Fulham in the opening game of the season on August 15. Andre Onana highlighted the need to “move on” from the loss. He said the team will keep its focus on “winning everything”.

“That’s why we are here. To wear this shirt, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world so you have to go for any trophy you face.”

Commenting on the goals he conceded, Onana said “it’s part of football”.

“Sometimes we make mistakes. We came here today to win, unfortunately we did not win. I will not talk about the mistakes. We win together, we lose together” the keeper said.

United face Liverpool in their next game, coming up on Sunday, September 1.
