Digital oriented higher institute of learning, Greenspirings Digital University Institute has appointed Prof Boyomo Assala as Vice Chancellor and Prof Victor Julius Ngoh as Registrar of the institution. The academic gurus were appointed through separate communiques issued by the hierarchy of the Institute recently.
Relying on their academic prowess and professional parcours, the two two household names in the Cameroonian education landscape will dictate and drive the vision of the school to empower its students to become new generation professionals.
Having worked in several academic milieus the two gentlemen will bring their experience to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the school in attaining academic excellence.
About Prof Boyomo Assala
Professor Boyomo Assala is a distinguished scholar with over 40 years of experience in university teaching, research, and administration. He holds advanced degrees from the then University of Yaounde and top French institutions including University of Paris II and Sorbonne, specializing in Media Economics, Corporate Communication, and Political Science.
He has served as Director of the Advanced School of Mass Communication, ASMAC. He has also taught in leading Cameroonian universities, and published extensively on media, law, policy, and communication.
At Greenspring Digital University Institute, Prof Boyomo brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to guide the next generation of scholars and professionals.
What Prof Victor Julius Ngoh is bringing as Registrar
The distinguished historian and seasoned university administrator brings over 25 years of leadership in higher education. He has taught in top institutions in Cameroon, the United States of America, USA, and Europe. He also at one time served in senior roles including Dean, Deputy Vice Chancellor, and President of the Catholic University Institute of Buea.
Armed with degrees from the former University of Yaounde, Portland State University, and the University of Washington in the USA, the Fulbright Senior Scholar and one of Cameroon’s foremost voices on political history is set for a new era at GreenSprings Digital University Institute
His expertise will contribute to shaping the vision of the Institution as it journeys through the academic landscape in the country and beyond.

GreenSprings Digital University Institute (GSDU) is a private university in Cameroon, founded in 2024, with a focus on digital education and bridging the digital divide in Africa. It offers both online and on-site learning options, with a campus located in Awae, Yaounde Monti. GSDU is accredited and offers degree programs in various fields, including Science and Technology, Management Sciences, and Agriculture.
