Urgent : Mamfe Main Market On Fire

Mamfe, Cameroon-Tuesday December 12, 2017-6:04 AM Local Time (Cameroon News Agency) The Mamfe main market located on the road towards Egbekwa village has been visited by wild flames as early as 4 am.

A  Journalist in Mamfe writes “Let’s pray for Mamfe. Now as I speak Mamfe main market in flames. Fire! call your brothers and sisters and check.”

Security forces who arrived the scene reportedly asked bystanders not to take pictures nor videos but cannot go closer. Mamfe has no fire fighting brigade.

Trders whose shops have been ravaged found themselves helpless in the dark as locals struggled to save some goods.

The cause of the fire has not been established.
