U20 Women WCQ: baby lionesses to face Egypt next

Following their win against the rising starlets of Kenya, Cameroon’s under 20 (U20) women’s team will face Egypt’s U20 women’s team in the next round of the U20 FIFA women’s world cup qualifiers.

Egypt’s team dominated Congo in their previous match, winning 7-1 on aggregate after a 1-1 draw in the first leg and a 6-0 triumph in the second.

Looking back at the third round of qualifiers, Cameroon defeated Botswana with a 6-1 aggregate win, winning 2-0 in their home match and 4-1 away.

Similarly, Egypt convincingly beat Sao Tome with an 18-0 aggregate scoreline, thrashing them 7-0 at home and 11-0 away.

Cameroon’s U20 women’s team will play Egypt on January 12 in Egypt and January 19 in Cameroon, while other forthcoming matches include Morocco vs Ethiopia, Ghana vs Senegal, and Nigeria vs Burundi.
