Tragedy Strikes: Lydol postpones concert following father’s involvement in fatal incident

The sensational slam artist who sings with a charming voice, bilingual and outspoken, Dolly Sorel Nwafo, popularly called by her artistic name as Lydol, sent her condolences to the family of a 6-year-old boy whom her father allegedly killed, after a fight with the father of the deceased.
Lydol announced that her concerts that were supposed to take place in Cameroon on May 23 and June 7 in France, were postponed.
In an emotional video posted on her official Facebook page, she said, since the incident happened, the past two days have been hard for her to come to terms with reality. She confirmed that her father committed a terrible and unforgivable, by taking away the life of the child.
She also said her silence did not mean that she was not sympathetic but wanted to have self-control before talking.

“I understand that the family decided not to meet with us, because the pain is still new, we will still be able to meet them another date…the truth is that I am lost…I want to make it clear that I condemn violence in all circumstances no matter who is involved…the forces of law and order are on the case.” She said in a 4-minute video.
Sources report that Mr. Nwafo was at a bar when an argument erupted between him and his neighbor, Paulin around their residences in Ngoa ekelle, university community in Yaounde, Centre region. During the altercation, Pauline allegedly struck Nwafo, knocking him to the floor. Humiliated and frustrated, Nwafo reportedly left the bar, went home to retrieve a knife, and proceeded to Pauline’s residence.
Upon arriving, he encountered three children and, in a shocking act of violence, fatally attacked a six-year-old child. Witnesses say he declared his intention to kill all three of his adversary’s children.
Alarmed by the incident, the local population intervened, delivering swift retribution through jungle justice. Nwafo’s life was ultimately spared when law enforcement arrived, rescuing him from the mob and transporting him to the hospital.
