Three separatists killed in Mbonge
On Wednesday, July 12, 2023, government forces launched two operations to capture a self-styled general Lucifer, an Ambazonian fighter in Mbonge subdivision, Meme in the South West region.
The forces visited places like Feo Bakundu, Bai Grass, and Jaga killing at least three suspects, including Commander Yong Money, his girlfriend, and another fighter.
The two phases of the attack included an ambush on a bike transporting the fighters and a thorough search in suspected areas.
A makeshift house was set on fire, one person arrested and ammunition seized, a military message stated.
