Territorial Administration minister says he is ready for opposition politicians

The Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji issued another stern warning against political leaders who “have intention to destabilize the country during the upcoming Election”
This umpteenth warning was issued on Wednesday, July 3, as he opened the first bi-annual Governor’s conference in Yaoundé in the presence of the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence in charge of the National Gendarmerie, Galax Etoga, and Secretary General of the General Delegation for National Security.
During the working session, the MINAT reassured that the Head of State has given the chance to all those who will want to present their candidacies for the 2025 presidential election but this must be done in strict respect of the law.

On the aspect of security, he also sent a message to the public that regional governors will be up-to-task to contain security threats.
He however warned that any instigator of public disorder will face the law. “The Republican game will be to vote and not to spectacularly storm the streets or the social media,” He said
Paul Atanga Nji also reassured Cameroonians that the Head of State knows Cameroonians better than any other person.
Governors from the ten regions of Cameroon meet for the first bi-annual conference of regional governors. The conclave presided over by the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji is held under the theme “Administrative authorities in maintaining law and order in a pre-election period”
Pre-electoral security challenges are at the forefront of the conclave.
