U17 FIFA World Cup: Africa’s two representatives off a good start

Morocco and Mali drawn in Group A and B respectively pulled a five-star performance in their opening games at the U-17 World Cup Indonesia on Friday.
The young Atlas Lions of Morocco kicked off their World Cup campaign with a thrilling 2-0 victory over Panama at Gelora Bung Tomo in the city of Surabaya.
They will face Ecuador in the same venue on November 13 at 10 a.m. and the host country, Indonesia on November 16 at 1 p.m.
Meanwhile, Mali the most experienced African nation of Africa’s 4 representatives humbled Uzbekistan 3-0 in their first encounter.
A hat-trick from 17-year-old Mamadou Doumbia was enough to help Mali kick off their FIFA U-17 World Cup campaign on a good footing.
The 2015 U17 World Cup runners-up will face Spain on Monday, November 13 for the second day of play.
Reigning African champions, Senegal is placed in Group D alongside Argentina Poland, and Japan. They will take on Argentina in their first match on Saturday No
