Spiritual mentor identified as mastermind in brutal murder of mentee

An investigation into the brutal murder of Marthe Mbella has revealed that her spiritual mentor was the mastermind behind a gang of three that committed the act. The crime took place on the night of February 2, breaking into the early hours of February 3.

The Yaoundé 2 gendarmerie company presented the suspects to the press. It disclosed that some members of the gang were apprehended with the victim’s phone in the Ange Raphael neighborhood of Douala. This led to the arrest of the organizer in Yaoundé.

The gendarmerie said Marthe trusted her spiritual mentor to enter her house since it was nighttime but his accomplices joined them leading to her tragic end. Investigations have also revealed that the spiritual mentor was involved in motorbike thefts in Yaoundé.

Marthe’s colleagues discovered her body lying in a pool of blood in her room after breaking in due to her prolonged absence from work.
