Born on February 29, 1964, in Tchibanga, Nyanga province, SΓ©raphin Moundounga is an experienced Gabonese politician.

He was a member of the National Assembly, where he held the position of Quaestor, before joining the government in 2010. He then went into exile in France for seven years. In October 2023, after the fall of the Ali Bongo regime, he returned to Gabon and was appointed President of the Transitional Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE).
