Samuel Eto’o and indomitable lion’s staff in Qatar ahead of FIFA world cup
Cameroon Football federation boss Samuel Eto’o Fils and some members of the indomitable lions’ staff are in Qatar ahead of the 22nd FIFA world cup.
Eto’o and Rigobert Song flew into Doha from Morocco this July 5th and have been visiting infrastructure which will host the national men’s team during the world jamboree. First on their agenda was the Banyan Tree hotel where they toured the rooms, meeting halls, gym and even iced Jacuzzis and swimming pools. Team doctor William Ngatchou was quite satisfied with the ultra-modern facilities and even declared it is the most luxurious hotel he has seen ever since he joined the team.
As far as security is concerned, 50 agents will be stationed at the hotel at all times for maximum security and special access passes will be made for visitors prior to their arrival at the hotel. A special lift is also available for the team and will be programmed to stop only at the floor destined for them.
In kitchen affairs, Chef Pierre Edimo, a nutritionist, will be in charge of their feeding and will work in collaboration with hotel staff.
This is the first time the team has had the opportunity to now their living arrangements months ahead of a tournament and hopes are high that this slight modification will enhance their performance.
