Russia to supply tonnes of grains to Mali, Eritrea and Faso

“Russia is ready to supply Burkina Faso, Mali, Eritrea with 25,000-50,000 tonnes of grain, ensure free deliveries,” Putin says in his opening remark at the ongoing Second Russia-Africa Summit in St. Petersburg.

CNA correspondent in Russia said the Russia-Africa Summit aims at building and strengthening mutually beneficial partnerships between Russia and the African continent, to address security, political, economic relations, cultural and humanitarian issues.

It should be noted that the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Summit is highest-profile and largest-scale event in Russia-Africa relations.

The first Russia-Africa Summit took place in Sochi, on 23-24 October 2019.
